Wellness Case Worker
Mohammad joined Refugee Transitions on November 2018 as a Wellness Case Worker. He was born in Afghanistan and speaks Dari, Pashto, and Arabic. As an RT wellness Case Worker, he partners with International Rescue Committee’s Health and Wellness team to develop and conduct psycho-education workshops and conduct health screenings. In addition, he provides case management and referral support to RT clients.
Prior to joining RT, he worked with No One Left Behind where he assisted Afghan Special Immigrant Visa recipients in securing financial aid to study at community colleges. In Afghanistan, he worked with a number of USAID funded projects that supported business development, workforce development, policy development, capacity building and training for Afghans. He received his BA degree in Business Administration from Kabul University in 2006. He obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from California State University-East Bay
