Caseworker

Sergii Pashyn joined RIT in March 2023 as a caseworker. His main duty is to provide case management services to Ukrainians coming to the Bay Area through the Uniting for Ukraine Program (U4U) and other Ukrainian and Russian-speaking refugees and asylees.

After Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, he created a Charitable Foundation in Ukraine, which was established to support vulnerable groups and the displaced population forced to flee their homes. His primary motivation to become part of RIT was the opportunity to help Ukrainians and all other citizens who were forced to leave their homes and come to the USA to start a new life. Sergii is a professional lawyer in Ukraine with 15 years of experience. Graduated from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University, received a master's degree in law, and received a master's degree in public administration from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. Sergii is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Hindi at the elementary level. He leads an active and sporty lifestyle. His main hobbies are chess, football, and piloting airplanes.
